Attorney Stacy E. FILING TRADEMARK APPLICATIONS

Stacy prepares and files applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has experience in responding to office actions addressing a number of issues that include likelihood of confusion, descriptiveness, geographic descriptiveness, surname refusals, foreign equivalents, and amendments to descriptions of goods and services. 

She assists clients to protect their marks in other countries, including filing applications under the Madrid Protocol to protect marks abroad and managing foreign trademark counsel for U.S.-based clients who are seeking protection abroad.

Portfolio management services include providing assistance in maintaining trademark registrations, communicating with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and drafting and recording trademark assignment agreements.

She offers a variety of services, including drafting cease and desist letters, negotiating licensing, consent or concurrent use agreements, and engaging in litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board or federal courts.
